6 New Teams to Apply for 2012 MotoGP
6 New Teams to Apply for 2012 MotoGP, Federation of International Motorsport, FIM, confirmed that there were six new teams to offer contracts for participation by IRTA MotoGP World Championship 2012. Thats not including a team-ti m contestants who are competing now.
Among the applicants, there are Marc VDS Racing - which had helped in developing the chassis Suter Moto1 -, the current leader of Moto2 Kiefer Racing team and Andrea Iannone, Speed? Master.
6 teams that have been proposed contract are:
- By Queroseno Racing (BQR) - Forward Racing - Kiefer Racing - Marc VDS Racing - GP Racing Paddock (Interwetten) - Speed Master
However, this is all still tentative. Application of a new factory that wants to participate in MotoGP continues to be evaluated. More information will be provided once a decision has been taken.

Marco Simoncelli died after a crash in MotoGP Malaysia
The death of Marco Simoncelli on the MotoGP Malaysia (23/10) was a deep sorrow for the MotoGP and world of international racing. The reason the Italian racer was the top rider in the MotoGP 2011. A few moments before the news of his death was released, had circulated the news that his condition is fine and the race will resume at 16:45 oclock time Sepang, Malaysia.
But it was actually quite the opposite direction condition, the condition of the drivers nicknamed the Super Sic was quite severe and in critical condition. Simoncelli was rushed to hospital in Kuala Lumpur, but he still did not help. Simoncelli was last breath after being taken to hospital.
